Basically API helps to determine location of the operator of device in various ways whether by using GPS, network or Wi-Fi so to make this even better they added new APIs named as: Fuse Location Provider, Geofencing and Activity Recognition feature. Fuse Location Provider helps to acquire location more swiftly and uses 1% less battery per hour. Second one is GeoFencing it allows developers define a virtual fencing around a particular area and find location of user easily. Third one is Activity Recognition Feature it helps to track physical activities, it senses whether one is walking, cycling, driving and will do it without even using GPS which saves a lot of battery juice.

Baffeled by annoying and repetitive updates filling your Facebook Home? A neat trick that will enable you to get rid of such updates while keeping your friends near.

Annoying and unnecessary updates from your friend(s) are flooding your Facebook feed? Facebook is full of naive people who share almost everything irrespective of how stupid it is. You might have some friends who behave like idiots on Facebook by sharing ridiculously stupid things such as the photo of a hungry kid that says one like equals to one dollar or those “divine” photos where one has to like before 3 seconds. Some friends are so politically frustrated that they spend almost all day abusing the government or political parties with ridiculous logic. Of course the Facebook gamers (farmers, chefs, mafia kingpins, detectives etc) top the chart by asking a cow or garlic for their game progress. Imagine the horror if these kind of updates flood your smartphone if you use Facebook Home.

I too have some “share happy” friends who share almost everything within a timespan of 5-10 minutes. Even though the shared stuff is not one of the above mentioned idiotic stuff, it is frustrating to see the whole Facebook news feed to be filled by the updates from the same guy. While the best way to get rid of such annoying updates on Facebook is to hide the updates from them.

But wait a sec! Are they not your close friends? You do want to get some (important) updates from them to know what they are doing or if there is something really important news from their side. Hiding them would not serve the purpose as it goes against the principal of Facebook and that is to socially connect with friends.

So if you want to get rid of the annoying and unnecessary updates from your friend but do want to receive the important announcements from them, here is a little trick that could help you.

How to get only important updates from friends on Facebook:

Click on the option from the right side of the post and choose Hide.

Once you hide the story, it gives you an option of Change what updates you get from XYZ. Click on this option.

Here you can choose what kind of option you want to receive from your friend. Bets would be to choose Only important.

You can also opt for Most updates. This will also reduce the activity of your friend in your news feed. I hope it helps you in keeping your friend with you and your Facebook news feed cleaner.

Google will now provide 15 GB of free cloud storage that will be shared between Gmail, Google Drive and Google Plus. Google announced in a blog post that this step will bring more seamless experience across various Google products.

Earlier Google Drive had only 5Gb of free storage while Gmail had 10 Gb of free storage. While an average usage of Gmail falls around 2 Gb, rest of 8Gb is almost useless. But with the new unification, this could be very well used in Google Drive. This new scheme applies to your purchased additional storage as well. It means if you had bought 25GB of storage in Gmail, you can use it in Google Drive as well.

What about Google Plus picture storage?

Now, this brings us to this very important question. Does Google Plus have unlimited storage? If 15Gb is to share between Gmail, Google Drive and Google Plus pictures, it clearly is an indicator that Google Plus does not have unlimited storage. When Google Plus was first launched, many people used it to extend the free storage of their Picasa account to unlimited. But as observed by this guy, it was never unlimited and it gave storage full warning at 7.6 Gb data.

If you are not an addict to Google Plus, this new unification of storage should not be affecting you at all. In fact now you can use the extra unused storage from Gmail to Google Drive. You can see the usage in your Google account in nice graphical manner. The changes will start rolling in next few weeks therefore you have to wait for sometime, depending on you geographic location.

Here is a quite surprising and head cracker move for all other companies that have been fighting to make their device faster than one another, Motorola’s X Phone model number XT1058 made a visit to the FCC recently as reported by TechCrunch.. Motorola was earlier bought by Google for Billions and since then they have not even released a single device yet.

There are the sketches of the device and they closely resemble the earlier leaked X Phone which was leaked by @EvLeaks earlier this month. Phone is found to be of AT&T carrier and had LTE bands of the carrier.

If we closely look at both the devices in above pictures we will notice similarity in both Motorola Logo one and sketchy one such as position of camera, flash. Even the speaker grill is at same place also the position of Logo of device. Also the placement of headphone jack and even Lock/Unlock button is same.

All we have to do is wait for Google’s annual I/O developer conference which is rumored to show off the refreshed Nexus 7, a new chat system rumored as Babel, new Google Maps, New refreshed Nexus 4 probably 32GB as a new smartphone will probably is not for this year. Android 5.0 notebooks, a Google smartwatch and a Google TV is also expected this year.

To cool all of that graphics power, the Radeon HD 7990 features three cooling fans and a heatsink for each GPU. To sweeten the deal, AMD is bundling a whopping eight games with the new card, including Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite, and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. We are hopeful that this Graphics Card will be all in one to fulfill the various needs of our customers”.

ASUS being one of the leading notebook and net-book vendors in the world always manufactures technology oriented and user friendly products. It seems that the new Radeon™ HD 7990 Dual-GPU Graphics Card (available at 75000 INR) would surely play its positive role in letting the company touch the skies of success. Already the company has won more than four thousand awards last year. So, can we say that this Radeon™ HD 7990 Dual-GPU Graphics Card will let ASUS win another award? To get the answer, we will have to wait a little.
